More from that project thing I mentioned earlier.
I do love the look of colored lineart. I wish it didn’t take so long to do.
Happy 20th, Sailor Moon!
I did most of this drawing at my day job. It’s been a day since I finished it and I don’t hate it 100% yet, so that’s got to be a sign of progress, right?
I’ve got to get back in the habit of posting here one of these days.
Here’s Vivi. Flyin’ on wings of light and surrounded by wisps.
I’m really not used to the whole “digital painting” thing. I actually inked it first, but decided to go for a painterly style instead of ink-and-cel-shading.
I actually like the effect, but it took forever.
I forgot until after I had already drawn the pose that Ally’s wearing a skirt in this chapter. Guess I’ll have to invoke the “Magic Skirt” trope for this one.
I’m setting myself a new goal of doing a drawing a day and posting it “on the line” as the children are saying these days. Not in color or anything, but a full black and white if possible. With a possible side goal of making one full color drawing a week.
This first one was much more difficult than I intended because a fiendish friend suggested I go for Haruhi and Tamaki (from Ouran High School Host Club) in EGL attire, and I don’t know if you know this, but EGL attire is freaking complicated.
I really have no idea what’s going on in this picture. I suspect that’s going to be a theme in these dailies, since I’ll be drawing them even if I have no idea why I’m drawing them. Speed is more of a goal than sense.
