Ezekiel Norton

Ezekiel Norton is a Cartoonist / Tinkerer / Super Genius. He is currently working on a webcomic, Epee, which has not launched yet, as well as a few other projects which aren't as high priority. This blog will be used for posting his personal drawings sketches and, one expects, the usual Tumblr silliness as well.

Based on an idle musing from the imageboard I frequent. The sequel to Avatar is set in a 1920’s-ish setting, which lead to someone mentioning the idea of the main character, Korra, dressing as a flapper, and I decided I’d like to see what it looked like.Only got to the penciling stage on it today, since it required some research. May revisit.Also, Korra really doesn’t have a “flapper” body. They were very keen on the waifish, skinny look and Korra’s got a toned, amazonian body that doesn’t at all match the shallower curves the flapper dress was designed for. Makes this a little more difficult.
